My qualifications

I have always been interested in people — our interactions with each other, what makes each of us tick.

I studied psychology at university and then began my career in social work, learning so much about people, and helping with so many different struggles along the way.

I always knew I’d love to become a counsellor, and in 2014 I began my training.

  • BTEC level 5, Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
    Supporting Minds, Lincoln (2018)
  • BTEC Level 3, Diploma in Counselling Skills
    Lincoln College (2016)
  • BTEC Level 2, Introduction to Counselling Skills
    Lincoln College (2014)
  • BSc (HONS) Psychology
    Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge
    (2001 – 2004)
  • Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling
Association for Counselling and Therapy Online (2023)

I am always developing and updating the integration of counselling theory with counselling in practice. Find out more about my approach here.

My attributes, knowledge and training, are focused on supporting people, like you, through personal and professional challenges, to find a way through, and emerge in a better place, both within and in life (both very much connected of course).

Do the best you can until you know better.
Then when you know better, do better
